Have you heard of Xerox Workflow Central?
If you haven’t before now, we suspect that it would have only been a matter of time—this is a productivity platform from Xerox which has been exploding in popularity… and for good reason, too!
The Xerox Workflow Central platform is packed with super-modern tools which allow users to create document processing workflows like nothing else on the market. We recently had a chance to check out the latest update to this productivity platform, and all we can say is that we’re impressed. It was good before, but Xerox has redoubled their efforts to make this an affordable, modern productivity platform appropriate for businesses and organizations of all sizes.
Let’s take a moment to see what it has to offer:
Xerox Workflow Central Has All the Tools a Modern Office Needs
Xerox Workflow Central is a productivity platform—but what does that mean?
It aims to act as a central repository of tools and workflows for document processing. The platform comes with both tools we would define as extremely useful but not necessarily exciting—such as the ability to convert any document into a Microsoft Office compatible document—as well as tools that are decidedly futuristic.
For example, one of the tools that comes with Xerox Workflow Central is software which allows the user to scan and convert handwritten notes and transform them into an editable digital file (Office compatible, if desired). This is pretty impressive stuff, but the platform also comes with other surprisingly advanced tools too, like an AI-driven document summarizer and a tool which can convert written documents into audio files, meaning that the written document is read back to you.
Document Processing & Automation: Workflow Central Gives Users Never-Before-Seen Productivity Options
The Xerox Workflow Central suite of tools are impressive on their own, but the platform really begins to shine when you start using what are called combination workflows. This part of the system allows you to process a document through two or more of the tools in the suite. For example, you might decide to scan a large amount of handwritten notes and convert them to a digital document—then you run that document through the automatic summarizing software. All of this can be set up beforehand, so it’s a single-press operation.
Another common workflow might be to scan documents, run them through the document summarizer, and then convert those summaries to an audio file. This is a fast, efficient way to consume a large amount of information very quickly.
