If your company is among the growing number of responsible businesses who care about their impact on the environment, you’ll be excited about the Xerox ColorQube and its patented Solid Ink Technology. A green alternative that can significantly reduce printing waste, the Xerox ColorQube can put your company solidly on the path to sustainable, green printing practices.
Environmental Benefits
- Energy Star Qualified. This voluntary rating is granted only to products that offer superior energy efficiency. You’ll save money and protect the environment at the same time.
- A true consumable. Traditional printing cartridges can have a huge negative impact on the environment, burning over two quarts of oil to manufacture just one, and flooding landfills with waste. Solid Ink Sticks are cartridge-free, producing 90% less waste than cartridge-based printing. In four years of printing 12,500 pages a month, a laser device will produce 334 pounds of waste. Solid Ink produces just 40 pounds.
- Use Less Paper. The Xerox ColorQube features automatic two-sided printing and copying, resulting in 50% less paper usage. ColorQube owners also receive free Green Print Software, which highlights and eliminates unwanted pages before printing.
- Green paper choices. Take your green initiatives one step further by using Xerox papers. With up to 100% post-consumer waste, this simple change can make a big difference.
User-Friendly Green Processes
- Clean, Safe Ink. You won’t need to worry about toxicity with ColorQube Solid Ink Sticks. They’re safe for you and the environment, and they won’t stain skin, clothing or furniture.
- Local recycling. Cartridge-free printing means less waste to recycle. With no empty cartridges and minimal packaging, recycling is a simple, local, one-step process.
